100% Green Energy

As of mid-april ‘25, Monte da Silveira will be powered entirely by solar energy. With the installation of 42 solar panels on our south-facing roofs, we will generate all the electricity needed to run the property efficiently and sustainably. This means that from the moment you wake up to the moment you turn off the lights at night, every bit of energy you use will come from the sun—clean, renewable, and environmentally friendly.

Water-Wise Landscaping

Water is a precious resource, especially in Alentejo’s dry summers. To minimize our footprint, we have designed an ecological garden that thrives with nearly zero water consumption. By carefully selecting native and drought-resistant plants, we ensure that our outdoor spaces remain beautiful and vibrant, without unnecessary water waste.
